As we begin our 61st year of serving the youth of Dormont, the Dormont Athletic Boosters Association (DABA) is having an open enrollment to recruit new members interested in supporting youth activities. For those of you who don’t know that much about DABA, we are primarily a fund raising organization dedicated to the youth of Dormont and the Keystone Oaks School District.
DABA is responsible for organizing the Boosterettes marching unit, baseball (ages 6 to 18), girls softball (ages 6-18), KO Area cheerleading and football (ages 7 to 11). It is DABA’s intention to provide both financial and administrative support to improve the safety of the games our children play, the equipment they use, and the fields they play on.
DABA’s main fundraisers are a door to door campaign, a Monte Carlos / Night at the Races, a Halloween Dance, baseball, softball and football concession stands. As a member you will be expected to participate in these fundraisers.
The work is hard but the rewards are plenty.
If you are interested in becoming a member of DABA, please contact one of our executive officers below for an application.
